THE SUPPRESSED ARTIST

Being an artist in today’s world is not an easy choice. Honestly, to many artists, it doesn’t feel like a choice at all- it feels like a duty. 

God gave us the gift to create. Whether you agree or not, it is true that we all have specific skills and a specific purpose to this world. For me, I know I was called to create and to inspire. Yes, sometimes creating feels like I’m being held against my will to get something done, but the other times make up for it. 

Create when you feel angry, create when you feel sad. Create when you feel like you have nothing else to give, because maybe the truth will come out into your creation. Maybe you were meant to share a piece of yourself to the world. Maybe self expression through your creations is the answer. The only way to know is to start.
